I am so happy you’re here! We hope you enjoy following along on our journey as we build our modern farmhouse and barn/tiny home on our property here in the Pacific Northwest.
You will also find me sharing about life while starting a little hobby farm with a family and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I hope you find information that is useful to you on your journey!
a little bit about me
I am the wife of a firefighter and the mother to three incredible children. We love our life here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and enjoy exploring all that our area has to offer. Life is too short to not enjoy it to the fullest!
My husband worked for his family’s custom home business before becoming a firefighter. I grew up with an architect/custom home builder father. Building our own homes is something we come by naturally. We have built and sold three homes and are in the process of building our fourth, a modern farmhouse on acreage. We will begin with building a shop/barn with living quarters for us during the house building phase.
We have learned a lot through our building experiences and hope to be able to help others out with our knowledge!
We will be bringing our daughter’s horse to our property, as well as an alpaca or two, a bunny, chickens, maybe even a goat or two. Gardening is also a huge love of ours. We can not wait to share our adventures and what we learn along the way!
Raising our family with a healthy lifestyle is something I am very passionate about. I love learning new tips and tricks and good healthy recipes and am excited to share what I have found!
After moving many times, I have become quite experienced with minimizing and simplifying our home! You will find me sharing my knowledge on that along with my simplified home decorating and organizing methods.
